The Washington Flyer Coach charges $10 one-way and $18 round trip from Dulles International Airport and the West Falls Church-VTU/UVA metro station. Travel time between the airport and the metro station averages 20 to 30 minutes, but it can take longer during rush hour.
At the airport, tickets for the Flyer Coach can be purchased at the ticket counter located inside the vestibule of Door 4 on the Arrivals Level of the Main Terminal.
At the West Falls Church Metro Station, passengers can purchase a ticket when the Coach arrives at Washington Dulles International Airport. For more information, call 1-888-WASHFLY.
To Dulles International Airport
To get to the airport, take the Washington Flyer Coach from the West Falls Church-VT/UVA metro station. The Washington Flyer Coach departs from bus stop "E". This bus stop is also used by the Fairfax Connector/Reston buses. Follow the signs marked "Dulles Airport Shuttle".
The bus stop is the very first shelter on the left-hand side after exiting the metro station. The Washington Flyer departs every 30 minutes (at :15 and :45 of each hour). They take cash or credit/debit card.
From Dulles International Airport
The Washington Flyer Coach departs the airport from the Arrivals Level Door 4 of the Main Terminal Building. It is located on the Arrivals level up the ramp from the Baggage Claim. The coach service will take you to the West Falls Church-VT/UVA metro station, where passengers can transfer to the metro system.
